Ward was born in MonroeLouisiana, on April 151976. Ward attended the private Christian primary school, called Monroe Christian School. Ward went to Ouachita high school in the parish to complete her secondary schooling. She then moved to River Oaks High School the season following her senior year. A short time after her graduation, she enrolled at Northeast Louisiana University. Ward, then 13, started modeling shortly after leaving school. She moved into New York to pursue this profession. After a few years, she decided to try her hand at acting. She was first cast uncredited in 1970s in the soap-opera All My Children. Later she was a part of the short-lived teen drama on NBC's prime time Malibu Shores. In the latter half of 1996Ward was offered a part on the daytime soap-opera Sunset Beach where she portrayed the virginal Meg Cummings. In 1999, she began her film career playing Brittany Foster, the psychotic Brittany Foster of the erotic drama The In Crowd. The movie was a commercial disappointment in theatres, but it did find some successes on home and cable. Ward appeared as a character in Shallow Hal in the year following, in which she was a supporting character. Apart from her direct-to-DVD roles, Ward also made several guest appearances on TV shows including Friends. In 2009she got the part of Chloe Kmet, the mother to a little girl on the ABC Family drama Make It or Break It. She married David C. Robinson, the producer. The couple had a son named Cameron.
